Chapter 3

Amelia could feel Rosalie’s glare on her back, and the temptation to turn on her feet and go to the blonde, beg for her forgiveness, was great, but they were in the classroom, in the middle of the class, and she couldn’t.

Her heart ached at it, she was breathing hard, and more than once stammered, but there was nothing she could do at the moment. Only later, when she managed to get some time alone with Rosalie, would she be able to explain herself to the blonde. Unfortunately, the blonde left the room the moment the class was over, and Amelia stayed behind, biting her lower lip, not quite knowing what to do.

On the way home, she hesitated whether to call Rosalie or wait for her to calm down, ended up not doing anything, just disrobing and taking a bath, trying to relax in the warm water. When her doorbell rang, she got to her feet, barely stopped to put her robe around her naked figure. She was certain it was Rosalie, only the blonde came to her unannounced, and she only hesitated for a moment before opening the door.

Rosalie stood on the other side, her blue eyes immediately moving down Amelia’s figure, heat showing in them, which was when Amelia realized her robe had fallen open and she was giving the other woman a very enjoyable sight. She closed the robe without delay, blushed a little, then stepped back, silently allowed Rosalie to enter.

The blonde did so, eyeing her with a somewhat strange look. Amelia bit her lower lip, not quite knowing what to do. Should she apologize? For leaving the other woman as she did, probably, though Rosalie did put her in a somewhat complicated spot. And yet, Amelia was tempted to apologize.

The other woman spoke before she could make her mind. “I…” Rosalie started then looked away. That was a first, Amelia had never seen the blonde hesitate before, not even when this started between them and the other pushed her back against a desk, kissing her when they were still only student and teacher. Doubt was not something one associated with Rosalie. “I didn’t want to make you uncomfortable, and I’m sorry if I did.”

Amelia smiled in response. Part of her had always feared she was just a toy for Rosalie to play with, just an older woman she knew she could seduce and have fun with, someone to discard when she was through with her.

If that was true, Rosalie wouldn’t apologize. She knew just how hard it was for the blonde, she could see it right now.

“You weren’t the one that made me uncomfortable, their eyes were, all those strangers looking at me.” She was the one that hesitated then, looked away for a time and only looked back at the blonde when she got her blush in control. The way Rosalie looked back at her made her heart beat a little harder. “I like being yours.” It was a confession she never thought she would utter, two months before she would never say anything of the kind.
